This 8 night / 9 day adventure begins in the greater Kruger National Park where we will explore the central and southern areas of the park during our first three days. After leaving this iconic South African Game Reserve, we head south into the Kingdom of Swaziland where we spend two nights camping in the western highlands exploring the Malolotja Nature Reserve – the largest and most impressive protected mountain area in the Kingdom. We then travel east along the tropical southern Mozambique coastline near Ponta Malongane where we stay in a beach lodge for three nights. Day 1

Arrive early afternoon at the Kruger National Park’s Phalaborwa gate where we meet our Guide who takes us along a private route to an unfenced campsite not open to the public - for our first night.

Day 2

Today we continue exploring along the private route introduced to us by our guide, before joining up with the public roads where we will enjoy a picnic lunch served by our Bhejane crew.  The remainder of the afternoon will be enjoyed as a self-drive while heading in the direction of Camp Satara, our campsite for the evening.

Day 3

After everyone receives their picnic lunch pack we drive towards the south of the Park. You can either self-drive or travel behind our Guide to reach our next campsite.

Day 4

Depart for a short morning game drive in the Kruger using the tourist roads while travelling towards the Park’s gate, before exiting and continuing to the nearest town for some shopping and refuelling. From here we travel into the Kingdom of Swaziland en route to the Malolotja Nature Reserve for our next two nights. This impressive highveld mountain reserve boasts spectacular scenery and a myriad of wild flowers and abundant game life making it the last unspoilt wilderness left in Swaziland

Day 5

After breakfast we take a trip to Ngwenya Mine which is one of the oldest mines in the world. We also visit the famous Ngwenya Glass Factory where you can observe the amazing glassblowers in action, only using re-cycled glass. Return to our mountain campsite via two-spoor track, getting a chance to appreciate the breath-taking wilderness surroundings.

Day 6

Today we head east through Swaziland, passing through the outskirts of Mbabane, leaving the country and entering southern Mozambique.  Our stay for the next three nights is a self-catering beach lodge overlooking the tropical waters of Ponta Malongane. Relax and enjoy whilst the Bhejane crew cater to your every need.

Day 7 & 8

Take time to leisurely enjoy the warm Indian Ocean and beautiful coastal environment. With snorkels and goggles in hand we board rubber ducks out to sea to experience the wonders of the tropical reefs. We might be fortunate enough to encounter a whale sighting or even an unbelievable swim with the dolphins. Return to the Lodge for lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon on the beach or visit the local markets. For supper we will dine at a local restaurant to indulge in their traditional Portuguese chicken and prawn dish.

Day 9

Depart after breakfast for South Africa via the nearby Ponta do Ouro border post. From here it is a two-hour drive along tarred roads to the N2 highway near the town of Mkuzi.
